9-12 Independent Study

The secondary program is on a semester grading period and offers options of seat-time courses, online courses, traditional independent study courses and the opportunity for concurrent enrollment at student’s designated comprehensive site.  Secondary program by grade level as follows:

  • Traditional Independent Study Appointments once per week, 1 hour min
  • Online Courses via the Edgenuity web based program (Credit Recovery, College Preparatory, Honors, AP)
  • In-person support classes for Math I and English/Writing Skills
  • In-person Art class
  • Concurrent Enrollment at PHS/THS offered pending school approval. (e.g. NJROTC, music, world language, athletics, etc.)
  • NCAA Approved
  • TUSD approved curriculum
  • Dual enrollment college courses at the community college
  • Early College CSUS Courses at THS or PHS
