Principal's Message

Welcome Cranes!

Dear Families and Students,

eCademy Charter provides the opportunity for students to continue their education outside the traditional comprehensive sites. We are a dependent charter school to Turlock Unified School District (TUSD) and follow their school calendar, educational services plan, and all accountability measures such as meeting all district and state testing requirements. We welcome TUSD students and students from outside the district. Our campus provides a unique environment with a team of dedicated and caring staff where our students "Experience an Equitable Education.” We will prepare our students to return to the comprehensive school site, or a student may choose to promote/graduate with us. Simply inform our counselor of your goal and we will work together to achieve it.

eCademy offers distinct program options for the K-12 grade level students to accommodate alternative educational needs. Our K-6 Home School program provides the TUSD adopted curriculum to each student and the student & parent meet with the teacher at a minimum of one day per week. Our grade 7-12 program is a traditional Independent Study (IS) via online courses through the Edgenuity Platform. The Edgenuity courses we offer are A-G college prep courses, Honors courses, and Advance Placement courses. In addition to strategic teacher support a student may also utilize Tier II support and/or voluntarily report to our campus for additional intervention and tutoring, in an adult supervised comfortable classroom setting, called the SPACE. We also offer concurrent enrollment course options with the two comprehensive high school sites for TUSD students. These courses are granted based on seat availability and approval from comprehensive sites.

The staff at eCademy are confident that every student can learn and be successful. Together we will prepare students to be college and career ready. We do offer some evening family events on campus (e.g. Fall Family Night, Christmas Tree Lighting, Spring Fling, etc.) and ask students and parents to attend to be part of our community and continue to work on socialization skills. It is imperative we can communicate with you about school events. Students and parents please assure us that we have correct phone numbers and students please check your school email for school information at least twice per week.

Please become familiar with the content in this student handbook and use it as a resource throughout the year to inform and guide you on questions related to our school. You may visit our school web site for additional information and contact our office at 209-669-3410 or email eimperial@turlock.k12.ca.us for further questions. I look forward to working with all of you, especially your kid(s).  See you on campus!

Sincerely,
Esmirna Imperial
